I'm off to Burkina Faso!!

The time has finally come for the Athey Creek Christian Fellowship team to head over to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Yippee! We fly out very early tomorrow morning and will arrive in Ouagadougou early on Sunday morning (Burkina time, which is about 8 or 9 hours ahead). I know I speak for the whole team in that we covet your prayers while we are there. Here are a few ways you can be praying for us:

1. Safety and health during all our travels (Aug. 22-Sept.2).
2. The hearts of the 320 kids coming to the camp would be open to the Lord as well as all the other people in which we come in contact.
3. Jesus Christ would be proclaimed clearly through all the guys as they are teaching as well as through the whole team as we love and get to know these people.
4. The physical needs of the people- food is very expensive and is becoming hard to come by.
5. The Burkina Faso Christians would be encouraged.

Thank you for your prayer support! We greatly appreciate them. I look forward to coming back and telling you stories of how the Lord is working in the lives of the people in Burkina Faso!
